He is local to Moyale and Mandera towns on the border of Kenya and Ethiopia where he spent most of his childhood, and Nairobi, Kenya where he worked for a non-profit organization called One Acre Fund, and Mandera. Huthefa has experience with mentoring kids, and is excited to explore misinformation and disinformation with the help and support of DLINQ. Outside of DLINQ, Huthefa enjoys running, hiking and everything to do with the outdoors, except for soccer.
Why DLINQ: Huthefa likes DLINQ because it gives him an opportunity to explore misinformation and disinformation and understand it better. He is interested in exploring the information environmentalism studio of the internship more.
