About Heather: I joined the team as a multimedia/curricular technologist in June of 2013. In my role at Middlebury I work with faculty, students and staff as they integrate technology use throughout the curriculum. Prior to arriving at the College I worked as an English teacher at the Hannaford Career Center in Middlebury. It was during this time that I began to focus my study on technology use in the classroom as well as assisting students to become aware of and cultivate their digital identities. I completed my M.Ed. at Northeastern University with a focus on eLearning and Instructional Design which gave me a unique view of educational technology from a student perspective. This experience has proven to be extremely valuable in my work. One of the things I like best about my job is getting to talk to faculty about ideas they have for technology use in the classroom, if you’d like to meet to discuss a question or idea or you can schedule a consultation with me using the option below. I may have additional availability which you can view here.
